About these terms

These terms apply when you book a lawn or garden service with Brisbane Lawn Mowing. By booking, you agree to these terms.

Quotes and bookings

Quotes are provided free and are valid for 14 days. A booking is confirmed once we send you a written confirmation (email or SMS) with a date and time window. Fixed-price quotes remain fixed unless you change the scope of work. If you request extra work on the day, we will provide a variation quote before starting.

Access to your property

You are responsible for ensuring we have safe access to the work area. This includes unlocking gates, securing pets, and removing obstacles. If we cannot access your property at the booked time, a $50 non-access fee applies.

Pricing and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Payment is due within 7 days of the service date via bank transfer, credit card, or direct debit. Late payments may incur a $15 fee per month overdue. Fortnightly customers save up to 30% off the one-off rate.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Please give us at least 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel a booking. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a $50 fee. We will give you the same courtesy and notify you ASAP if weather or an emergency forces us to reschedule.

Weather and safety

We reserve the right to postpone services in unsafe conditions (heavy rain, storms, extreme heat). We will contact you to reschedule to the next available day.

Overgrown yards and surcharges

Our standard rates assume a maintained yard. If grass is longer than 200mm or the yard requires slashing before mowing, an overgrown surcharge of up to 50% may apply. This is disclosed in your quote before work begins, never after.

Our insurance

We carry $10 million public liability insurance. We take care with your property, but in the unlikely event of damage caused by our team, please notify us within 48 hours so we can investigate and resolve it.

Satisfaction guarantee

If you are not happy with the finished result, contact us within 48 hours. We will return and correct any issues at no charge. Our guarantee does not cover grass regrowth or weather related changes after the service.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to re-performing the service or refunding the amount paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
